The Art of Transcription features music from Mozart and Schubert to Gershwin and The Beatles, all reimagined and recomposed for combinations of clarinet, strings and piano. CME's own artists, violinist Suliman Tekalli and clarinetist Graeme Steele Johnson, also give the world premiere performances of several of their own arrangements, from Tekalli's acrobatic adaptations for violin and piano to Johnson's reimagination of a Mozart piano sonata for clarinet and string quartet.
